Metung Primary School held a Multicultural Day on Wednesday 23rd August, where students dressed up for the occasion in costumes from around the world.

Activities included making traditional Vietnamese theatre masks, learning the Vietnamese alphabet, Filipino dancing and exploring the history of Ireland and Celtic design.

Students also enjoyed being involved in Aboriginal dance, art and music. Brendan ‘Buzz’ Hart captivated the children with Gunnai Dreamtime stories and taught them some of the language and art symbols. At lunch time, a multicultural feast was enjoyed by all.
